Next I was to meet the neo-assyrian army under Philippe Bertrand's leadership
The Neo Assyrian does have some good infantry but the main threat would come from his good chariotry, some being exceptional, shoot&charge and melee expert
I was out scouted so deployed defensively and also got terrain
Protecting my right flank with terrain, the wooden horse and some tribal spearmen
Here I took the bet to mix Achiles and Nestor's commands to try to avoid disaster vs the Assyrian palace guard

Achiles . This time he would die ( as predicted ) so Philippe will be Achilles killer
Here we go. The palace chariots are in the middle
slowly getting out of terrain . Philippe did not feel he had to confront my right so I had to go to him and it is slow work

My memory is a bit weak but There is one point of rule I had not completely right and it is PDF pg 70 Moving chargers, 3.1 . states that the charger may alter the direction of the charge if it can catch ANY TUG that has moved position since the declaration by running away, skirmishing, intercepting or countercharging . I had forgotten that the errata had added "Charge" as well.
So you can see the exceptional chariotry . I will charge them with my Hoplites hoping to fix them there. The chariots to their left will skirmish as they are charged by both infantry TUG they face ( both SUP, SP, ME ).
So as I was phasing player I charged with the hoplites before the Assyrian infantry charged .
I contacted the chariotry as intended but so the infantry TUG on my left could pivot and hit me in the flank ..as I had forgotten that " charging TUGs" were now included ...it would cost me that unit rather quickly as Philippe's dice will favour him ? He did hit me with one base that rolled 2 skulls at impact and in the melee 2 more skulls ( the general was in the fight )
All in all there will be multiple fights and the game will end
10-7 in favour of Philippe
Next and last battle was versus Gilles and another Sargonid Assyrian army
The last game, we were so focused on the games that I did few pictures. Mainly Gilles went forward a bit to quickly as I had the cards to manoeuvre Achilles and Nestor easily.
They will trap and crush the enemy's right flank and Agammemnon will get out of terrain pinning many Assyrian TUGs.
Dice will favour me and so the game will end in a crushing 15-0 in my favour
